Toronto’s Fife House is an important charity organization that provides supportive housing and services for people affected by HIV and AIDS. Their signature event, Spotlight, takes place on  November 9th this year at Glenn Gould Studio on Front Street. We are happy to donate our Sterling Silver and Gold Plated Marquis Bracelet to the silent auction, which starts at 8:00 pm. Click here for more information about Fife House and to purchase Spotlight event tickets.

5. AIDS Beat12167944_10153003920441734_627588074_nAIDS Beat is another fantastic CANFAR event supporting HIV and AIDS research. This annual rock ‘n’ roll charity event is organized by Toronto legal community and will take place this year on October 23rd at The Liberty Grand Entertainment Complex.

This is a special year for AIDS Beat – the 20th anniversary of the event. Believe it or not, this is an event I (Tamara) used to attend when I practiced law at Torys LLP a million years ago when dinosaurs roamed the earth! I wish I could go this year, but i’ve sent a pair of earrings in my place… enter the raffle to win a pair of Studio1098 Red Stone Ball Dangle Earrings (as a tribute to the AIDS red ribbon). You can learn more about AIDS Beat or purchase tickets yourself, at www.aidsbeat.com.
