Lace agate is a beautiful banded form of cryptocrystalline quartz. Each piece of agate is individual, uniquely formed by nature.

This pair of agates caught my eye when I was at the Tucson gem shows. I like the lazy, winding patterns of the black, white and grey, that is softened by a few translucent brownish spots. I decided then that I would make them into cufflinks, and we hand-fabricated custom bezels for them in the studio.
