Sapphire and Diamond Spiral Engagement Ring

The unusual ring shown here is the product of an amazing collaborative ride with a remarkably creative woman and her partner. Nothing about this ring is simple, yet the elements come together as an elegant unified whole. Instead of top and centre placement as would be the norm with a traditional engagement ring, the gemstone sits between fingers and is surrounded by diamonds. The shank spirals around the finger, and little diamonds spiral around the shank, creating a miniature wearable sculpture. The engraving around the setting is a stylized version of the couple’s initials.
